Waiting for my new iPhone 5

I ordered my iPhone 5 two days after they sent the email that you could pre-order, and now I’m stuck waiting “14-21″ days for it to arrive. I didn’t think it was a big deal, but now I’ve been watching people on Facebook post pics of their shiny new phones, and frankly, it’s starting to bum me out. It’s okay…some delayed gratification will do me good. Since I had nothing new to play with, I decided to explore my new iMac some more. I’ve just finally fully converted to mac. I have a giant iMac that I use to edit pictures with (I currently use the programs Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 4), and I have a MacBook pro that I use to do client gallery presentations. I’ve come a long way since using power point to create a slideshow for my little sister’s graduation years ago. I can’t believe how easy it is to put together videos with iMovie! I am all about doing slideshows for birthdays and other big milestones. I am probably so behind on the times just now discovering iMovie, but just thought I’d share, since my main goal in life is to create a document memories with my family and friends. Below is my video I’m calling, “My Little Mermaid.” This is Marisa doing canon balls in our pool. It amazes me how at ease she looks underwater. I particularly love the part where she swims by and looks back at you. I’m so excited now to go through all of the old iphone video clips I have of the kids and put them together! That should keep me busy until the new phone arrives.
